Background
Technicians may want to verify that proper selections were made when setting up the Automatic Import options for End Users or Administrative accounts.
NOTE: As of August 1, 2025, we recommend using Automatic Import Policies to manage the import of accounts. This KB has been modified to indicate a Customer Specific Automatic Import Options that is NOT a member of a Policy.
Adjusting the Automatic Import Settings - End User Accounts
At times, you may want to adjust the Automatic Import Settings.
-
- Adjusting the Auto-Enrollment Options (Pause, Adjust Integration Matching, Welcome Email, Self-Serve)
-
- Click the Auto-Enrollment Options in the bottom left of the End-User Accounts screen
- Click the Pencil icon on the far right to allow you to toggle the settings you want to adjust and click Save
- The items you can alter will differ depending on which integrations you have enabled.
- Enable/Disable the matching to the Password storage/Vault
Existing IT Glue or Hudu Password entries will be automatically matched, by Active Directory Account Name, if they exist.
CyberQP will attempt to match the imported end-user account to an existing entry in IT Glue or Hudu.
If no match is found, a new password entry can be created automatically. You have the option to check the box if you want this to occur.
Future password updates done in CyberQP will be synced back to IT Glue or Hudu.
(Note: This option will not be available if you have not yet Integrated the Customer with IT Glue or Integrated the Customer with Hudu, or if the Quickpass Tech Vault has not been enabled for your Tenant).
NOTE: Quickpass makes extensive use of the ITGlue Category/Hudu Type values for the Automatic Matching process. If you have existing ITGlue/Hudu Password Entries that you want to ensure are automatically matched during import or during the Manual Matching process, please ensure that those entries are updated with the following Category/Type values:
Account Source Category/Type Name On Premise Active Directory Active Directory Azure/O365 Office 365 OR Microsoft 365 OR Azure AD OR Azure Active Directory Local Account Local Account If an existing password entry does NOT have the Category/Type values populated, a new Password entry may be pushed into ITGlue/Hudu as a new password entry during an automatic import.
- Enable/Disable the toggle to send the Welcome Email automatically upon a new account being imported.
ATTENTION: Our recommendation is to disable Send Welcome Email and Enable Self-Serve on first import until the deployment of Quickpass by CyberQP has been communicated to your customer(s) and the setup has been tested with select End Users to confirm all is working as expected. Once the customer is ready for roll-out, you may enable Self Serve for the existing imported accounts and edit the Auto-Enrollment Options so future imports have Enable Self Serve and Send Welcome Email auto-enabled, if desired.
- Enable/Disable the toggle to automatically match/create contacts in the Integrated PSA.
CyberQP will attempt to match the imported End User account to an existing entry in the PSA
If no match is found, a new password entry can be created automatically. You have the option to check the box if you want this to occur.
Future password updates done in CyberQP will be synced back to IT Glue or Hudu.
- Enable/Disable the Self Serve option for the End User
- Enable/Disable the M365 Sync (this used to be an import source option but is now linked to the Automatic Import Options.)
See this link to understand how it will function.
- Enable/Disable the matching to the Password storage/Vault
- The items you can alter will differ depending on which integrations you have enabled.
- These options will be applied for the next time an account is imported. This does NOT alter any existing imported accounts.
- Click the Auto-Enrollment Options in the bottom left of the End-User Accounts screen

Adjusting the Automatic Import Settings - Administrative Accounts
At times, you may want to adjust the Automatic Import Settings.
- Adjusting the Auto-Enrollment Options (Rotation, Adjust Integration Matching)
- Click the Auto-Enrollment Options in the bottom left of the Administrator Accounts screen
- Click the Pencil icon on the far right to allow you to toggle the settings you want to adjust and click Save
- The items you can alter will differ depending on which integrations you have enabled.
- Enable Password rotation - Turning on or off the Toggle Switch for Password rotation will enable/disable the Automatic Password Rotation for all future imported accounts.
- Integration (ITGlue/Hudu) password matching. - Toggle this on or off to match to or create Password Entries
- NOTE - Customers with CyberQP Technician Vault will not see this option - as this is required for monitoring password changes and rotations, the password storage is always on and cannot be disabled.
-
Turn ON the Password Entry Matching if you want to store Administrator Account Password changes in whichever Password Storage option you have in your Tenant. (Note: This MUST be enabled for the Rotation to function properly)
CyberQP will attempt to match the imported Administrator account to an existing entry in IT Glue or Hudu.
If no match is found, a new password entry can be created automatically. You have the option to check the box if you want this to occur.
Future password updates done in CyberQP will be synced back to IT Glue or Hudu.
(Note: This option will not be available if you have not yet Integrated the Customer with IT Glue (if applicable) or Integrated the Customer with Hudu.)
