Pre-requisites
- Local Account(s) imported into Quickpass How to Import Local Accounts – Quickpass Software (getquickpass.com)
Auto Matching
1. In the Quickpass dashboard navigate to the menu, End-User/Administrator/Service Accounts menu, of the customer you imported the local account(s) for that you wish to create IT Glue embedded password entries for.
Then click the Match Accounts button in the top right of the screen.
2. In the Match Accounts screen click the Automatch button.
3. Quickpass will now scan all IT Glue password entries and look for possible matches. Once complete the suspected match results will be shown on the dashboard.
In the event there are more than one possible matches you will see a link on the right hand side called "+More than one match, click to edit"
Click the "+More than one match, click to edit" link to select the appropriate match.
4. In the Select Match window pick the correct IT Glue password entry to resolve the conflict. In this case you will see the Category of Local Account and if you scroll to the right you will see the type of password which will be either general or embedded.
Note: If there is only one possible match the match will be selected already and you won't need to resolve the conflict of the match.
5. Once you are satisfied all the discovered matches are correct you can click the check box on the left hand side for any matches you wish to execute or click the Select All option at the top to confirm all matches found.
Note: If the Local account is being matched with an embedded password you will see the configuration name under the Configuration column. Conversely, if its being matched to a general password entry then the configuration column will be blank.
6. You will now see IT Glue icon show up under the Integration column in the Accounts menu.
Manual Matching
1. In the Quickpass dashboard navigate to the menu, End-User/Administrator/Service Accounts menu, of the customer you imported the local account(s) for that you wish to create IT Glue embedded password entries for.
Then click the Match Accounts button in the top right of the screen.
2. In the Match Accounts screen you can search for the IT Glue password entry you wish to match with the local account.
Once found drag the IT Glue password entry to the local account listed on the right hand side to where it says
3. Once all your manual matches are complete click the Add button at the top left to execute the matches.
4. You will now see IT Glue icon show up under the Integration column in the Accounts menu.
