Q: How often does the automatic import process run?
A: The automatic import process will run every 3 hours.
Q: Are changes I make to a user's phone number or email within the dashboard sync'd anywhere else?
A:
- Autotask PSA If the user account is matched to a PSA contact, the changes will also push to the PSA contact.
- Connectwise Manage: No changes are pushed to the PSA.
- HaloPSA - For all the matched end-user accounts, the email Id and Phone number of an end-user can only be updated on HaloPSA. If the changes are valid, then it will get synced with end-user record on CyberQP. For more information, please review this FAQ document. |
For the unmatched end-user records, technicians can update the email Id and Phone number on dashboard but it won't get synced to HaloPSA. It will get synced to a documentation tool such as ITGlue (if integration has been setup).
A: Changes made within the CyberQP dashboard are not sync'd to the source location (AD,AAD,Local).
Q: What do I do if an account gets automatically imported into the wrong area of the dashboard?
A: If an account gets added to the wrong section of the dashboard, it can be moved by following the steps outlined in the how to move accounts article.
Q: Can I opt in/out of creating new end-user record on HaloPSA via the automatic import configuration settings?
A: Yes, if you tick the checkbox 'Create new PSA end-user if no match found' in the automatic import settings then if an end-user doesn't exist on HaloPSA, it will get created on HaloPSA and matched with the end-user record on CyberQP.
In case you want to opt out of it, uncheck the checkbox 'Create new PSA end-user if no match found'.
