This article will walk you through how to move a privileged account from one section of the portal to another. This need may arise when a privileged account is accidentally added to the wrong section of the portal.
These instructions will focus on the scenario where an account was accidentally added to the Administrator Accounts section of the portal instead of the Service Accounts section. The same method applies to different areas of the portal (Ex: Administrator Accounts to End User Accounts, Service Accounts to Administrator Accounts, etc.)
- Navigate to the Administrator Accounts section of the portal for the Customer which contains the privileged account that you want to move.
- Click the ellipsis of the privileged account which you want to move to the Service Account section and select "Delete Account".
NOTE: Deleting this account will only remove it from the CyberQP portal. By selecting Delete, this will NOT delete this account from Active Directory, Azure Active Directory or the Local Machine..
You can also perform this action on multiple accounts at once by clicking the checkbox of the desired accounts and then clicking the Delete Accounts icon.
- Click Confirm on the modal that pops up.
- Follow the instructions in How to Import Service Accounts article to add the previously deleted accounts into the Service Accounts section of the portal
