End-User Accounts
Active Directory Only / Hybrid Environments with Microsoft Azure AD Connect
Note: Skip this section if importing from Office 365 or if you want Quickpass to sync your AD and O365 passwords.
- Click +ADD ACCOUNTS button
- Select Sync from a Single Source then click the CONTINUE button
- Select the appropriate source to import from.
- If you Select Active Directory, select the Organizational Unit that contains the end-user accounts you wish to import.
Note: Only the organization units that contain user objects will be displayed. Also, the following Active Directory container folders will be hidden.
- Select the end-user accounts you wish to import then click the ADD button at the top of the window.
- Note: E-mail addresses listed in the E-mail address field for the user in Active Directory will be auto detected and imported into Quickpass. Users without an e-mail address will be required to be manually entered after the user is imported.
The end-user account will now appear in the End-User Accounts menu.
Note: In this use case Microsoft Azure AD Connect will look after synchronizing the password between Active Directory and Office 365 so there is no need to import or match the account with Office 365 from Quickpass.
***Important***: Quickpass will enhance AD Connect by automatically running the AD Connect Delta update PowerShell script, if the agent is installed on the system running AD Connect, whenever we detect a password reset in Active Directory or from our system. This eliminates the default time delay for AD Connect to sync passwords between Active Directory and Office 365.

-
- Select the accounts you want to import that are Office 365/Azure Only Accounts and then select Add.

-
Hybrid Environments without Microsoft Azure AD Connect
Note: Choose this option if you want Quickpass to synchronize end-user account Active Directory or Local Accounts and O365 passwords instead of using Microsoft Azure AD Connect.
NOTE: In order for the Password Sync from Quickpass to match the Office 365 Password Policy, you must ensure that the Active Directory source Domain has a Group Policy setting that includes - Password length of 8 or more, and Complexity Enabled. Selecting the Password Sync: ON option will force these settings changes to your Group Policy.

Active Directory/O365 Password Sync
After clicking Add Accounts > Manual, select the left option; Sync Active Directory with Azure AD for Active Directory and O365.

5. Select the user(s) you would like to import, then click Add.
6. Quickpass will either Automatch (if a matching email address is found in Office365), or ask you to manually match with the appropriate account. Automatched accounts do not need any further action, except clicking on the Save button. For accounts with a mismatched domain, you'll need to do a Manual match by clicking Match with O365 Account.
7. Find the appropriate user account, check the radio button for that user, then click Select on the bottom right.

Note: You can match any Account with any Office 365 mailbox when manually matching
6. With your account properly matched, click Save on the top right corner.
7. After the end-user accounts are imported you will notice that both the Active Directory or Local Status and Office 365 status dots are green.
Note
- When the AD/O365 Password Sync is On the email address will be taken from the Office 365 mailbox while all other user info will be taken from Active Directory.
- When the AD/O365 Password Sync is Off the email address is taken from Active Directory if you are only importing an account from Active Directory or from Office 365 when only importing the account from Office 365.
- For Active Directory only accounts if the email address was not in Active Directory user object email field you will need to type the email address for the user then press tab or click in another area on the page to accept it.
