Background
For Partners that wish to define Firewall Port and Destination exceptions to allow the agent installed on servers and/or workstations to communicate with the Quickpass Hosts.
Communication Port
The agent installed on a server or workstation will communicate only over port 443. This traffic is encrypted in transit using 256-bit SSL AES encryption.
North American/Oceania Customers
The agent will communicate with the following DNS and IP addresses:
- api.getquickpass.com
- 35.232.60.199
European Union Customers
The agent will communicate with the following DNS and IP addresses:
- eu-api.getquickpass.com
- 35.228.35.91
Agent Update Restrictions
In order for the system to download the latest version of the Agent, you may need to allow your firewall to communicate with the following address(es)
Password Storage and PSA IP Restrictions
Both IT Glue and Hudu allow for restrictions on IP addresses that can access the API.
ConnectWise On Premise versions may also require these additional IP entries to be added as port exceptions allowing the connection inbound through a Firewall/Threat Protection system.
Adding these IP Addresses to your existing restrictions will allow you to limit the API access to the Quickpass Server addresses required for communication with the Password Storage or PSA software of your choice. You will need to ensure you enter these values in the appropriate format for the Integration you use.
NOTE: These values may be updated periodically. If you are having challenges with the IT Glue or Hudu Integration or your On Premise PSA and you have setup IP Restrictions, ensure you have checked this KB Article for IP changes.
