Pre-requisites
- CyberQP integrated with HaloPSA
https://support.getquickpass.com/hc/en-us/articles/25342883841047-HaloPSA-Integration-Setup-Guide - HaloPSA customer should be matched with CyberQP customer
How to match end-users on the CyberQP dashboard
- Access the end-user list for the desired customer by clicking on it in the dashboard.
- Click on 'Match Accounts' and then select 'HaloPSA' as shown below.
- Review all the records on the 'Match Accounts' page. There could be multiple scenarios -
-
Multiple matches exist - You will be able to see a star icon in front of the end-users for whom multiple matches exist on HaloPSA. Click on the text '+ More than one match click to edit' to select the desired end-user record from the modal as shown below.
- Click on 'Select' to pick that record. You should be able to see that selected record in front of that end-user record and the number on 'Save' button will show the total records that will get matched once clicked on it.
- Click on 'Save' to match the end-user with the selected HaloPSA end-user. The success banner appears on the screen.
Note - The suggested matches work as per the logic described here. The automatic matching process differs slightly: if multiple matches are found in Halo, the first end-user record is matched to the corresponding CyberQP end-user record.
- Click on 'Select' to pick that record. You should be able to see that selected record in front of that end-user record and the number on 'Save' button will show the total records that will get matched once clicked on it.
-
No match exists - For all the end-users for whom no match exists on HaloPSA, we can take two approaches -
- Click on 'Match with HaloPSA end-user to open up the modal with a list of all unmatched end-users from HaloPSA for that matched customer.
- Choose the desired end-user record and click on 'Select'.
- You should be able to see that selected record in front of that end-user record and the number on 'Save' button will show the total records that will get matched once clicked on it.
- Click on 'Save' to match the end-user with the selected HaloPSA end-user. The success banner appears on the screen.
- Click on 'Match with HaloPSA end-user to open up the modal with a list of all unmatched end-users from HaloPSA for that matched customer.
-
Create in HaloPSA - If you are unable to find the required end-user on HaloPSA, you can also tick the checkbox 'Create in HaloPSA'.
- Once you click on the checkbox, the number on the save button gets updated to show the total records that will get matched.
- After clicking on 'Save', the selected end-user record gets created for that customer on HaloPSA. The success banner then appears on the screen.
- Once you click on the checkbox, the number on the save button gets updated to show the total records that will get matched.
-
Single Match exists
- If a single perfect match exists for that end-user on HaloPSA, then a star icon will appear in front of that end-user record and it will show the end-user that the record will get matched to once you click on 'Save'.
- The number on 'Save' button will show the total records that will get matched once clicked on it.
- After clicking on 'Save', the selected end-user record gets matched with HaloPSA end-user record for that customer. The success banner then appears on the screen.
- If a single perfect match exists for that end-user on HaloPSA, then a star icon will appear in front of that end-user record and it will show the end-user that the record will get matched to once you click on 'Save'.
-
End-user already matched - All the end-user accounts that are already matched with the HaloPSA end-user will not show up on this screen.
-
Multiple matches exist - You will be able to see a star icon in front of the end-users for whom multiple matches exist on HaloPSA. Click on the text '+ More than one match click to edit' to select the desired end-user record from the modal as shown below.
End-users Matching Logic
The CyberQP end-user matching process compares the email ID, phone number, and name stored in CyberQP with the corresponding details in HaloPSA.
Please note that if a matched end-user record is deleted on HaloPSA, the end-user matching gets removed from CyberQP and HaloPSA.
