Background
For one reason or another, a tenant may need to migrate/move the configuration and data from one Quickpass tenant to another tenant.
Steps
To help ensure a clean transition from your current tenant to the new tenant, here are some steps to follow:
- Run the Self-Serve report and Rotations report from the QP dashboard prior to making any changes. If you use Quickpass Password Manager, export the Password Vault report as well.
- Should you need it, this will serve as a reference to see how things were setup prior to the move.

- Delete any accounts (including JIT accounts) on the dashboard that were imported from the Directory source(s)
- This will only delete the account from the Dashboard, we will never delete an account from the source.
- Disconnect the Azure/O365 connection from the QP Customer (if applicable).
- On the QP dashboard, navigate to the main customer page.
- Locate the applicable Customer, click the 3-dot icon and click Disconnect O365
- Uninstall the QP server agent from the Server(s)/Endpoints(s)

- After an uninstall on a domain controller, reboot the domain controller. If necessary, arrange any downtime as you see fit.
- Remove the Agent(s) from the Agent list for the desired Customer.
- Reinstall the QP Server Agent on the Server(s)/Endpoints(s) using the NEW Tenant's Install Token and Agent ID for the new Customer (if applicable).
- After an install on a domain controller, reboot the domain controller. If necessary, arrange any downtime as you see fit.
- After all of the above steps are completed, proceed with the account imports on the QP dashboard in the new tenant as desired using the previously stored CSV exports as a reference for account selection, source, and Integration matches.
- Once you have successfully completed all steps and confirmed that the Customer data is showing as desired in the new QP tenant, you may delete the QP Customer from the original tenant's QP dashboard.
