Prerequisites
- You have created customers in Quickpass either manually or by importing from IT Glue via integration. https://support.getquickpass.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035206574-How-to-Create-New-Customer
- You have installed the Quickpass Active Directory or Member/Standalone agent. https://support.getquickpass.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035206994-How-to-install-the-Server-Agent-Manual-and-Silent
- You have already imported End User Accounts into the Dashboard via either the Automatic Import or Manual Import Method
- You are now implementing Office 365 Integration after following the instructions here. https://support.getquickpass.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039678373-How-to-Connect-a-Azure-AD-Office-365-tenant-to-a-Quickpass-Customer
- You are NOT using AD Connect to Synchronize accounts in Active Directory with Office 365/Azure
- You have already created the Office 365/Azure Accounts in that Directory Source
NOTE: In order for the Password Sync from Quickpass to match the Office 365 Password Policy, you must ensure that the Active Directory source Domain has a Group Policy setting that includes - Password length of 8 or more, and Complexity Enabled. Selecting the Password Sync: ON option will force these settings changes to your Group Policy.
- Click on the Customer you want to link the End User Accounts for with Office 365.
- You can enable the Password Synchronization for individual accounts, all accounts or multiple selections.
- For Individual Accounts simply click the "Match Accounts" Toggle Switch
- For Multiple or All Accounts select the check boxes for the users you want or click the Select All Option
- Click the Enable Password Sync link at the top of the list of users
- You now have the option to Manually Match End Users to the corresponding pre-existing Office 365/Azure Accounts or to use the Automatch Option.
- Manually Match accounts by clicking and holding on the account you want to match, drag it to the corresponding Office 365/Azure account
- The Automatch option uses the Display Name to compare Quickpass Accounts to Office 365 Accounts.
- After enabling this feature the Office 365 Status icon will change to a Green Colour and the Match User Toggle Switch will be in the On Position
- For Individual Accounts simply click the "Match Accounts" Toggle Switch
NOTE: If any of the accounts you selected to enable the Password Sync are not showing as matched, after using the Automatch Feature, you will need to go back to the matching screen and do a manual match of the Accounts shown in Quickpass to the Office 365/Azure accounts. Common causes of this are a slightly incorrect spelling, or completely missing email address imported from Active Directory or Local Account.
