Concept
An MSP may want to rename a customer if the original is not correct or in the case of a Merger, Acquisition, or rebranding by their Customer.
Prerequisites
- Tenant is Enabled with Quickpass Tech Vault
- Tenant has QDesk, QGuard, or Bundle Account Plan
- Customers are already created on the Quickpass Dashboard
Process
- Click the Customers button at the top left side of the dashboard
- Navigate to the customer you would like to rename and then click the Rename option
- To confirm the action, a box will appear as seen below. Enter the new Customer name and hit save.
Please Note: 2 Customers cannot have the same name. If the value typed here is identical to an existing customer name, the change will be rejected. - Once saved, there will be a confirmation at the top of the screen to show the name change was successful.
