Due to recent findings that some tenants have not configured any Customer Access Groups, we are extending the final enforcement date to December 4th.
This change will give you additional time to complete your customer group creation and linkages to Technician groups.
On December 4th, we will be discontinuing the ability to directly assign customers to technicians. All partners must use Customer Groups to assign technician access to customers before this due date.
Certain features on the platform use Customer Groups linked to Technician Groups to grant granular access. This ensures that technicians, such as Engineers and Helpdesk, are granted the correct permissions to access their assigned customers.
What You Need to Do:
Ensure that your Engineer and Helpdesk technicians are linked to appropriate technician groups in your tenant.
Verify that these technician groups are linked to customer groups.
If these steps are not completed by December 4th, your Engineer and Helpdesk technicians will lose access to their customers when they log in to CyberQP on that date. You will then have to setup customer groups at that time to grant the customer access back.
